Privacy Policy

This site is built for clinical education. It collects the minimum information needed to operate, and never sells or shares personal data. Last updated: 6 May 2026.

Who is responsible

This site is operated personally by Dr Joshua Igwe (FRCEM, GMC registered). The site has no commercial sponsor and is not operated by any NHS Trust, the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, NICE, the Resuscitation Council UK, or the GMC.

What data is collected

  • Contact form submissions. If a visitor submits the contact form, the name, email and message are sent directly to the author and stored only for the purpose of replying.
  • Question-bank progress. If a visitor signs into the question banks, their progress (questions attempted, answers, scores) is stored in the site's hosting platform so that it is returned to them on their next visit. This is account data, not behavioural tracking.
  • Server logs. The hosting platform (Netlify) keeps standard, short-lived access logs (IP address, request URL, status code, user agent) for security and abuse prevention.

What is not collected

  • No advertising trackers.
  • No analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no Hotjar, no marketing pixels).
  • No third-party fonts or third-party scripts loaded automatically on page view.
  • No patient-identifiable data. Do not submit any patient information through this site.

Cookies

No tracking cookies are set. The question banks set a strictly necessary session cookie when a visitor signs in, used only to maintain the signed-in session.

External links

This site links to verified UK clinical sources: RCEM, NICE, the Resuscitation Council UK, the GMC, the BMJ, NHS England, and gov.uk. Visiting those sites is governed by their own privacy policies.

Visitor rights (UK GDPR)

Visitors have the right to request access to, correction of, or erasure of any personal data the site holds about them by writing to the contact address on the contact page. The author answers requests within 30 days.

If this policy is updated, the date at the top of the page will be updated as well.
